Chih-Ting Kuo joined Dr. Lance Schideman's group at 2008. His bachelor's degree was completed in the department of Bio-Industrial Mechatronics Engineering at National Taiwan University, 2007. Following his bachelor's degree Chih-Ting entered the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) as a research assistant. Chih-Ting's previous research involved microbial fuel cell (MFC) and biodiesel/glycerol analysis. While working at ITRI, he developed interest in algal biofuel. He believes algal biofuels can be the solution to today's energy crisis and global warming. Currently, his research projects include designing novel algal reactors and developing new harvest methods.
